Rudra has worked for a substantial number of years as an Attorney with General Motors (GM), supporting GM manufacturing and thereafter heading as a lead Attorney for GM Technical Centre at Bangalore (GM engineering, Research & Development and one of the very few, GM future vehicle Design Studios around the globe, GM has). He also worked for some of the best brands among the multinational corporations such as Elbit (into real estate), Syngenta (a Swiss co. into seeds and agrochemical), Suzlon (one of the most coveted renewable energy Indian multinational company). He was also a Consultant Data Privacy, Protection and Commercial Attorney with Allendevaux & Company specializing in end-to-end data protection and complex compliance for its client companies worldwide.

Rudra’s practice area of choice has been cyber laws, mainly data privacy for several years now and has worked closely and advised several European and the US law firms and blue-chip companies (some of the biggest e-commerce and social media companies, amongst others). He is still very much attached to commercial and techno-legal complex contracts drafting, vetting, negotiating on behalf of his clients both domestic and international.
